LUCAS KEWELL - New Works
Pianist Lucas Kewell will be playing a showcase of his original compositions and arrangements for the first time. Influenced by the fusion of Middle Eastern and European jazz his music draws inspiration from classical melodies and Eastern tones, taking listeners on a captivating journey inspired by his recent adventures in the USA and Europe. With a focus on evocative soundscapes, Lucas's compositions immerse the audience in a world of rich harmonies and cultural influences.
Lucas will be joined on stage by a talented group of musicians and great friends: Tyler Diprose on bass, Toby Barrett and Will Ralph on saxophone, Robin Baek on guitar, and Max Crook on drums. The performance will feature tracks recently recorded in Istanbul with Syrian clarinetist, Serkan Hakki, Hungarian drummer, Zoltan Fekete and Greek Bassist, Apostolos Sideris.
